Owner Jennifer Hines is celebrating her 25th year in the event industry.
She got her start in 1992 working with a local DJ company booking entertainment. It was there that she trained to be a videographer. It was her experiences as a videographer that gave Jennifer her initial education on the "ins and outs" of the event industry. Not only did she learn about religious and cultural traditions, but she gained a unique perspective on the behind the scenes events and crucial timing that lead to a successful event.
In 1996 she started her own DJ entertainment booking agency. The company grew and flourished to become one of the most popular entertainment groups in the DFW area. It was under the management of Jennifer that hip hop dancers were introduced to local kid's parties and a phenomenon was born. They elevated parties and dances to a new energy level not seen in this area previously.
Jennifer branched out to full fledged event planning in 2011. Tie A Bow has flourished
ever since. Jennifer provides crucial services to families planning events. Her
biggest asset is budget management. She will create a budget and help her clients stick to it. On top of her organizational skills, she has a creative side which enables her to come up with fun themes and execute them in clever and memorable ways.
"Being a party planner is what I was put on this planet to do. I really love my job, and that love is reflected in my relationships with my clients. Through the process of planning a party I wear many hats. Not only do I act as the adviser, but many times I become part of the family! I am very grateful to be a part of such special occasions with my treasured clients."
